Before virtual reality, you could enjoy hyper-sensational 5D experiences at funfairs: in a miniature rocket, 10 wet seats ready to transport you in a din of roars, images, smells and smoke, remember? Dodo 5D is an ode to those first attempts at offbeat reality: a 2-seater bed with canopies that is vibrant, sonorous, visual, windy and pleasantly fragrant, as well as being pop-comfortable. This installation offers an experience of hypnagogic augmented naps, or how to direct your dreams towards revolutionary and fairy-tale futures - that is to say, attractive ones.

Bio

Emma Souharce is a sound artist, designer and artistic director of Copypasta Editions. Their research focuses on the notion of vertigo, somewhere between psychoacoustics, hypnosis and catharsis. As a solo artist, They deploys an emo-noise oscillating between powerful electric feedbacks and dense rhythms.
